Seems like a really easy fix, just delete the code and reinitialize. It works.

Walkthrough

The update refactors the projectFormModel.Update method to always reinitialize the viewport using initViewport() upon receiving a window resize event. This replaces conditional logic and manual viewport size adjustments, ensuring consistent and safe viewport state management during terminal resizes.

Changes

File(s) Change Summary
internal/ui/project.go Refactored window resize event handling in projectFormModel.Update to always call initViewport() and removed conditional and manual viewport resizing logic.

Poem

A window shrinks, the view once broke,
But now a rabbit’s nimble stroke
Has patched the pane with gentle care—
No more panics, just fresh air!
Resize away, the code’s robust,
In every shell, in bugs we trust—
🐇✨ Viewports now adjust!

438-439: LGTM! Great simplification that improves robustness.

This change effectively addresses potential viewport state inconsistencies by always reinitializing on resize. The previous conditional approach could lead to edge cases where the viewport state becomes invalid during terminal resizing. By always calling initViewport(), you ensure:

  • Consistent recalculation of all viewport dimensions
  • Proper content updates and cursor positioning
  • Simplified code maintenance without complex conditional logic

The trade-off of slightly higher computational cost on resize events is well worth the improved reliability and code clarity.
